Goals The overall goal of CHARGE is to teach you, a teenager, how to witness and disciple effectively. Secondary goals of CHARGE include teaching you the importance of scripture memorization, submission to authority, complete surrender to God's will and much more!
Where They Come From 2 Timothy 2:2 - And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who may be able to teach others also. Though Timothy was young, it was still his responsibility to reach and disciple those around him, so that they could in turn reach those around them. Though it is not commonly taught, it is no less your responsibility to reach and disciple those around you, and teach them to do the same thing!
How They Are Met The goals of CHARGE are accomplished in stages.
Stage 1 - CHARGE Briefings
The CHARGE Briefing is a thirteen week training course. In these Briefings you will learn the fundamentals of Christianity that will prepare you to become a CHARGE member.
Stage 2 - Accept the CHARGE Test
At the end of the thirteen week training course, a test will be given that will include questions from all thirteen Briefings.
Stage 3 - Application for Membership
Once the test is passed, you will be given the opportunity to apply for membership. This application will be reviewed by the CHARGE Administration.
Stage 4 - CHARGE Member responsibilities/opportunities
As a CHARGE Member, you will be responsible for discipling at least one new member in the same thirteen areas that you studied.
You will also have the opportunity to attend CHARGE Member Only activities and special events!
